i have a Imola orange ap2 what you guys think about a OEM black front lip on my car?

 

Honestly, I've never been a fan of "multi-colored" cars. Keep it the same color as the car. Even if it was a CF lip, I think it looks silly. Would you have a fender a different color? Oh wait...some people do.

that reminds me of a riced out civic with a new bodykit that doesn't fit right and isn't painted, just 3 different colors thrown on the car

 

S2000's were designed to be a 'clean' looking car - i think multi colour exteriors start to ugly the car up a bit, and confuse the aesthetics (not often i get to use that word). It will still look good cos it's an S, but matching paint FTW...

 

yeah thats what i was thinking. i guess i have to find out the paint code and get the lip and side stakes painted.

 

dont bother painting the side strakes painted dont even install them.

get everything painted one color before putting it on. It isn't like a civic or integra where the sideskirts are black from the factory and matches well with an unpainted front lip.

i think he means that the "side strakes" look like ***, so don't even bother with putting them on the car... btw they do look like ****.

i love the look of the side strakes. so yea they are going on the car.

 

only side skirts worth getting are the comptechs... oem are blah... they look like a poor excuse for a boomerang

 

sell the side strakes to pay for the paint for your lip

good call... best of both worlds... u dont have ugly boomerangs on ur car, and its a free paint job

I like the side strakes! but my car is black so they dont stand out so much

 

they are [freak]ing expensive
