Some Stupid Questions About ECHC
Hey all. Of course I have been seeing a ton of ECHC threads and all, and if my questions are so retarded that they aren't worth answering then please just say so.
Here they go anyways:
1. Exactly what is it? I have ideas, but I just wanted to be sure.
2. How did you guys get into it and how much does it cost? Now I really mean how much do the actual registration and racing fees cost, but if you want to throw in extras like rotors, tires, pads, etc. feel free. I'm curious how much all of this costs.
3. How are the classes broken down and all?
4. Which tracks are the events held at?
5. Can you run like one race if you haven't been running in the series? The reason I ask is because I'm a broke-*** with a full-time job, but if I could make it to one race in a state near GA just to run one for fun then I would like to. I don't have mad skills or anything, but just driving out there would be bad-***.
6. What are the driver requirements? Need some sort of NASA or SCCA license to "compete" or do they just take your money and tell you not to hit anything?
Thanks in advance for any questions. If you guys know of any websites that break it all down for me then that would be a great help too. It just looks like so much fun and all that I'd like to get involved in any way even if it's just spectating if I can't drive.

most of your ?s can be answered with a visit to http://www.honda-challenge.com
after you peruse the site, you can ask some more specific stuff. The money question is a good one.

See location, and see sig. I haven't even had my first race yet!

Seriously though, this stuff does get VERY addicting, and I'm sure it will be worse for me after my first race.

The answers to your other questions are on the Honda Challenge website.
