Going to drop my ride
Im looking to drop my type s an inch or so. Im just wondering what setups you guys have for that type of thing.
Im thinking about picking up these eibach's:

Thoughts? Also, what kind of camber kit if any, would I need to do the job right. Thanks in advance.

FYI dont buy from ebay motors. They are most likely a cheap imatation of some sort. Ebay is just overall pretty risky. Not to say some stuff is ok and you can get a good deal but when it comes to cars you want quality stuff that will work right. If your going to drop it, it depends on how much you want to drop it and if you want to pay alot or a little. Coilovers are more expensive but once you have them in you can adjust the hight. Springs and struts you cannot. I ran Koni Yellows in mine for 750 and it looks and rides beautiful. But for a 200 more you can get coil overs. Its up to you how much you want to spend and what your going to be using it for.
About the camber kit just go to Club RSX and by the rear camber kit from there that works golden. I just put mine on easy as pie.
Oh and dont be pissy when ppl dont respond it tends to make you look bad and ppl wont want to respond after that!

Nothing is wrong with ebay as long as you search and ask questions. Even parts performance shops sell on ebay motors. Whenever you buy anything online it's risky so don't try to narrow it down as just ebay.

I personaly don't suggest people to get any kind of lowering springs because your stock struts, even tho they are performance struts, aren't made to be lowered, they were made to take the full shock (abosrbtion) from the factory spec. Don't be cheap and get full coilovers. I think it's funny that only america sells springs and coilovers (sleeveovers) seperately but over in japan they sell the full coilover sets.
Camber kits, you seriously don't need one unless you lower it slammed so far down that you have negative camber from hell. You need to get an alignment once you lower your car. Negative camber isn't what eats at your tires it's the TOE and that can be corrected by an alignment. Camber kits are one of those, if i want to buy it or not, nothing detrimental things.

OP two of the best dampers/coilovers you can get for the dc5.
1. BuddyClub N+ dampers.
2. function and form type 2's.
^ if you decide to get these just run a decent rear camber kit like SPC or Ingalls "rubber" if its your DD. really no need for the fronts because of the pillowball mounts that are camber adjustable. <--- comes with both sets of dampers above.
^ i dont want to start a huge arguement in your thread about the best coilovers and all that but if you need some info on suspention for your rsx PM me.

After we dropped my car i realized that i wasnt satisfied with the drop nor the lack of being on springs. ive been on them for about 7k miles now and they are getting bouncy but shocks arent blown yet. so if this makes any sense to you portaman03 listen to me from experience and do it right the first time dont cheat out on suspention. with all that said im done

Why are you quoting yourself, especially when the information is not 100% accurate?
The reason why you disliked your Tein springs was because you had them on crappy stock shocks. Don't blame the spring when the shock is the problem. Or the fact that you didn't think your car was slammed enough. OP wants a 1" drop, which is a good drop for the RSX chassis. Maybe he has been reading the FAQ's...
As far as coilovers go, both the the ones you listed are ok, but certainly not the best.
My advice to the OP is to get some mild lowering springs and get some good shocks to go along with them. The stock shocks suck, period. Even on the OEM springs they don't dampen very well, and they wear out rather quickly. Just because you can't see fluid leaking out does not mean that they aren't worn.
