Default i want it dumped but...

i have a 97 4 door civic with stock rims and recently installed a coilover and dumped it. my question: 1.my tires rub on my front fenders, how do i get rid of the problem without raising my car? 2.my camber is way off, how do i fix this? they said installing a camber kit makes your upper control arm hit the body. need help pls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what wheel/tire size are you running? try cutting the middle section of the fender liner out. and you don't really need a camber kit, unless you need to dial in specifically for like auto-x or something . just get a good alignment and have the toe set to factory specs.

i already took out the fender liners but the tires are rubbing against the fenders itself when i turn. i wanted too install a camber kit to correct the camber. my tires-185/65/14

when you lower it , you are increasing negative camber, and it is actually helping you move the wheel further away from the arch of the fenders. if you get a camber kit and fix the camber i would only believe you will rub more.

Define "perfect camber". Many of us think that the car was seriously lacking negative camber from the factory, and only comes closer to "perfect" with lowering...

Besides, what is the correct specification for camber on a car that has been lowered and no longer has factory spring rates, ride height, IC and roll center locations, toe and camber curves, etc...?

roll your fenders!!! lift ur car, put a baseball or baseball bat between the tire and fender then lower and roll ur car back and forth, back and forth trust me, it'll help!!! also about the camber. u cant have both(slammedness and "perfect" camber) either raise up and get camber kit or get alignment as best u can and live with it. just remember, with all that nagative camber the tires wont grip as well on launch.............Function>Form!! good luck

If u wanna be slammed you gotta pay the price..... Tires will rub when you turn and you will chew threw tires frequently if you dont like that then you should probably raise it up
