Changing final drive gear? help in acceleration?
Right now I have a LS tranny 
in my ls vtec, which is really holding me back from accelerating. My question is should I buy a b16/gsr or type r tranny (If i have the extra money for the LSD), or should I change my final drive drive gear? I searched and couldn't find anything. Thanks guys

Either one accomplishes the same idea. Generally you just switch transmissions because of the wide variety you can pick from....much easier to just drop the tranny and put the new one on, rather then dropping it, busting it open and hoping you install everything correctly.
