i have a '91 crx hf with a b16a motor swap with a y1/j1 tranny i.e.
1st- 3.250
2nd- 2.052
3rd- 1.416
4th- 1.103
5th- .906
i was wondering if anyone has made a hybrid tranny out of an S1 4th and 5th or such. I get horrible highway mileage but my acceleration is great, I would like to have my cake and eat it too.

 

i hear about people putting in the cable LS 5th gear into their b16a trannies. i've driven one, it's a big drop in rpm in 5th gear.
