Default Chevy tahoe

Just wanted to say what a very informative person you are. Not to escape the honda discussions but as a diy person like i am and a person who researches way before he gets the job done i was in need of ac help when i came across this site.
Thumbs up to you. Any how i was told i needed to replace my compressor, accumulator and oriface tube. Total cost $ 1,500.00. No way, so i bought brand new hose assembly, compressor, accumulator, oriface tube and condensor. Not a problem for me as the parts are much needed. My plan is to replace said parts and adding the appropiate oil to all parts and o rings manually rotating the compressor as to get the oil to circulate within and prior to connecting flushing the evaporator well. Then to evacuate the system with vacuum pump and then going for the charge. What do you think? again sorry to bring up the Chevy issue in.

Thanx ed
from the Phoenix area
