Installing a manual steering rack in the sedan this weekend. My question is how do know where center is? So when I get it aligned everything is spot on.

 

i believe the splines are matched to that you can just recenter the steering wheel.

when they align the car, theyll know whats center by measuring the extremes.

i had my wheel installed off center when i got my car aligned. after it was done, the alignment guy told me to take the wheel off and recenter it and it was dead nuts on straight.
