my rex is running straight pipe, it does not harm ur engine to not have a cat, do u know what a cat does? if u don't I can explain it to you. I would definitely recommend a high flow cat. I M going 2 put one on my car when I get my new cat back next month. straight pipe is just going 2 cost u more in the end (when u need to get ur emmissions checked). u should probably check the emmission laws in ur state to see how strict they r. some engines, like the civic cvcc engine, do not even come with a cat yet still pass C.A.R.B. tests.
i'd have to say go with a high flow cat. It's not really worth it not having a cat, maybe it might increase hp a bit... but still, youll probably never pass emissions with it. and just think of the children!!!
just spend the extra money on a high flow
just spend the extra money on a high flow
Just run a straight pipe and weld a cats heat shield to it.....it will look like u have a cat on your car. But my car doesn't get inspected i just drive into PA a lot and sometimes they pull people over and check for it with a mirror so that lil trick works....hehe
