Default throttle cable help

Finally getting around to installing what i think is a si cable into my crx dx. The end that connects to the gas peddle though is way different. So i'm not sure if the guy sold me the wrong cable, or if i have to change something on the peddle assembly to switch from a dx cable to a si??

My dx cable on right:

DX CABLE ON BOTTOM:

Sorry for the bad pics. The first one is the most important though. It shows the dx cable has an end on it thats like 1/2" , where the new one only has a ball end on it. I'd order a new si cable but dont want to end up with the same thing if theres something i DO need to change on my peddle assembly. I couldnt find anything on this topic in the archives

I could be wrong, but it looks like the end that you are showing for the Si cable is the end that connects to the throttle body.

yea i thought that at first too! i couldnt tell which end went to the pedal, then i saw the other end of the "si cable" had the oblong round piece on it that definetly goes to the throttle body

so does anybody know if the si cable would have the adjustment on it like that where it should be going to the pedal?

(also no firewall plug on the new cable )

My 90 EX automatic cable looks like the one on the left (With CC). My 90 DX 5 speed hatch looks like the one on the right (Non CC). I dont know if that helps. I think the CC makes the difference.
