JDM ECU throwing a code-22. How is it possible?

Can anybody tell me why our freshly installed JDM P30 ECU would be throwing a code 22 (faulty VTEC oil pressure switch) when the JDM cars don't even have this feature? The B16 it came with doesn't have the VTEC pressure switch and neither does any other JDM motors I've seen. I know it's a JDM ECU because it's more square than the P05 that was removed...
Does anybody know if code 22 might mean something else for JDM ECUs?
I was able to get rid of the CEL by jumping D6 to A4 and the car runs fine & VTEC works, but I find this very odd. Also now when I put in the service jumper I get a code 21 even though were not getting a CEL while the car is running.
Any help would be awesome...
code 22 is VTEC pressure valve, usdm and jdm ecu share the same codes. have u tried to run with another ecu and see if it still throws code22 cause jdm ecu is really pain in the ***, my jdm b16 swap came with a jdm p30 ecu and it threw traction control code and knock sensor and car ran very rough, so i switched it to a chipped p28 ecu and car has been running very smooth ever since then and no CEL

No I haven't tried any other ECUs. That is the only OBD-1 VTEC ECU we have at our disposal. I'm not having any other problems, and the car is running great with the D6-A4 bypass. I just don't understand why I have to do it...
