Eran has the stock half bra on his car. We live in WA, where it rains a lot. Whenever we take the bra off to clean underneath it, it's drier than any other exterior part of the car. It's also generally cleaner (dirt sits along th top edge sometimes).
Though I have seen people's cars have some buff marks along parts of the bra and the rest of the paint looks aged while the place the bra sat was in relatively "better" condition (as far as oxidation), these people never took proper care of their cars in the first place. Not to mention the cars I've seen this on have usually had a bra on non-stop for quite a long time.
I just recently took Eran's nose mask off and saw no damage at all. I took it off so we could detail the car and lay down a fresh coat of wax (which protects the paint).

well maybe the previous owner didnt clean under it or something, but it was pretty bad. it was only on the hood tho, not the bumper. i guess as long as you take care of it it should be ok. but idk many people that would take it off every time they wash their car.

Eran doesn't take his off every time we wash it. But for details, it comes off. I have taken it off to wash under before though.
The brand of mask might also have something to do with it. Think about how many poorly fitting bras you see on cars in traffic. A strap hanging off, maybe it flaps partially over one light as they drive...

i prefer theirs vs. the typical 'star shield' 3M product, or anything else out there. lamin-x has a wonderful material.
