Hey,

i have been looking through numerous forums and seem to have had no sucess with finding out the answer to my problem! I am currently going through the process of a H22A2 conversion and i am at the stage of disconecting and labeling my loom and have stumbled across a bit of a problem.

I have come across two connections on the head and cant seem to figure out what they are for, i assume that they are sensors of some sort but i dont want to assume wrong.

the two connections are pictured below and circled.

Been a while since I looked under the hood of my car (and I'm nowhere near a shop manual at the moment), but... I have to guess those are oil pressure & coolant temperature sensors.

The one on the right might be the coolant temperature sensor.

I can't remember if this engine has separate gauge and computer temp. sensors.

 

the single wire sensor is for teh temp gauge on your dash, the second one is the temperature sensor for the computer.
