Default B18C GSR swap- Throttle Cable help

Im about ready to do my JDM GSR swap into my EF and was wondering a few things. The OEM throttle cable, can it be used on the GSR intake manifold and throttle body or does a bracket have to be made. Im just trying to get situated as i dont want my car down for something soo simple as a throttle cable bracket and all. Anybody know?

Don't quote me on this, as I very well may be wrong.

but.
I'm thinking you'll have to use an aftermarket bracket ( or I guess you could fab your own) for your OEM throttle cable to work.

So basically i need to get a Skunk2 intake manifold. Also, can i not use the intermediate shaft that came with the GSR swap with LSD tranny, i will need to get a DA intermediate shaft right? HMM

No, you don't -have- to use the S2 intake manifold. It's just what the OP used in the thread that I linked to you.

As for the intermediate shaft, you can use the DA one, but a 94-95 GSR int. shaft should work as well.

I shortened my cable with something called wire stops. I found it at an autoparts store. you just cut the cable and slide this on where you want it and tighten the set screw.
it looks like this http://item.express.ebay.com/S...sItem
