Default LSD Tranny noise when i put clutch in.

I recently started noticing the noise i guess it just started doing it about 2 weeks ago. When i am in neutral car is idleing at like 700 rpm all is good, but when i put the clutch i hear this humming noise comming from tranny like if a little fan has turned on. i never heard it before. Is this normal??? All gears shift perfectly no grinds. Nothing is wrong it's just that noise, it"s not to loud, and doesnt bother me or sound nast. I have a JDM B16A 92-95 SiR2 Engine With LSD Hydro oviously. Let me know what u guys might think it is. Is it the clutch going out???? and motor has about 75000km it's stock clutch that it came with. "still grabs good"

my guess is going to be the main input shaft bearing they all make noise on hondas eventually but if it gets bad enough it can be catastrophic, what is the fluid level in the tranny.....

there is a check plug on the side of teh tranny, i beleive it is right by the axle on the passenger side i usually pull the plug and stick my finger in if you can touch fluid you should be ok.

sounds like the input shaft bearing, i had the same problem, just remember when you pull the tranny, check all bearings and replace if needed

k cool is it like a plug?? a ruber one??? or metal??? i see like a bolt on the side by the axle. it looks like a bold, but with no head it goes in like a square tool is needed to turn it.

its a bearing, you have to pull the tranny and crack open the case

That is the correct bolt you found. Just put a ratchet in it and open it. On top of the tranny you will see a fill hole. Keep putting fluid in until you see it start comming out of the level hole. I just did this about a month ago.

correct me if im wrong but ive had a few ISB go bad on some d-series im assuming diagnostics would be roughly the same....but

the input shaft bearing would make a noise when the clutch is released (not pressed in) it would make whining noises while you were driving and it would get louder with the higher rpm.

im guessing the OP means when he puts the clutch in (to the floor) but hey i could be wrong.
