I'm fairly sure you just have to get a motor that's for a car (not for a light truck like the B20) that's the same year as your's or newer.
Check the local H-T Marketplace for motors swaps or check out HMotors online.

You can put a b16, or b18 in your car. I just put a b18 in my car and had it bar'd with the state referee. I had to convert it to obd2 (b18c5), and put all of the original smog equipment that came with the original car onto my car (94 Civic hatch). From there, the state ref inspects it to make sure it is all correct, and if it is he will pass it and give you a certificate approving your engine swap.
This is obviously an extremely short answer, but it is possible to put one of those engines in your car. In hindsight, I would have done b16 since it came in an obd1 application and would have been a weekend job.

I wouldn't go this route. Too much of a pain in the ***. I had a fully built Type R and couldn't smog it, so I swapped it for a OBD1 GSR. Less power, but now I'm 100% legit.
As for the OP, you can BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair "BAR'd") either a B16, or a B18. What you have to do is make sure that the motor isn't older than your car. So, you can't swap any motors that are 94 or older. Make sure that you install ALL Smog equipment, or CARB legal parts. Your Header and Intake could be aftermarket items, but they'd have to have a CARB sticker/stamp. Then the ECU has to be the same OBD as your motor.
Another short answer, but that is the short of it. The long, would be way to long, and there are a ton of threads on swaps that are just waiting to be searched out.
