Default 2000 civic si

i have so questions that i need anwered please.

1. if you use a h2b kit with the h22 motor in a civic si do you use the transmission that can with the car( witch is a stock b16)?

2. and what is the coast of the h2b kit??

3. dose the h2b kit come with everything that you need to hook up the b16 trans?

3. do u need to change any of the shitfing cables or anything else?

4. do anyone knows how much faster a civic si with the h22 swap be??

help please!!!!

h22 motor is using cable tranny. which means u can not reuse b16 or any hydro trany. u will have to cut a hole for the shifter bazel to fit. i would stay with b16a engine.. less hassle

dont h22's come with hydro transmissions, meaning you can pair it up with a hydro b16 tranny

no. h22 is cable. do a search and there are tons of people posting about h22a swap into eg or ek in this forum.

Alot faster, getting out of an EM1 and driving an H22 swapped Ej1 would make your jaw drop

h2b = 13 second car
b16=15 second car....

nope, its hydro

the but instead of using shift linkages it uses cables
the clutch is hydro

no iam going to. i just do not know that much about civics yet. i was looking at another car. i have work on motors before. i have rebuild 2 to tell you the truth.

you need to check out the hybrid section. there is a lot of write ups on h2b. I'm also doing h2b in my 00si. I would seggust trying to source and obd2 motor. so that it's pretty much plug and play. get ready to lose a/c and p/s thow....
