when changing carpet on my car do i just put the carpet over the old one or do i have to remove everything bcoz im having trouble doing it...can any one help me

 

You need to remove the old carpet.

 

What year car are you doing this on?

Reguardless.. The seats gotta be unbolted.. you gotta pop the interior trim pieces out on the driver side and passenger side.. and a few other things..
