I have read over and over that the JDM clutch pedal can be used in a USDM car but you must use a USDM brake pedal assembly. I am just curious as to the physical differences between the two. Reason I am asking is because a friend of mine had bought a JDM front clip a few years ago and never needed the pedals. He ended up giving me both the clutch and brake/accelerator pedals for free since I am doing an auto to manual swap. Also I keep hearing about the spacers needed for the clutch pedal. Could someone please shed some light on the JDM vs USDM brake pedals and the clutch pedal spacers I will need?
Here's a picture of the pedals I took earlier if it will be any help.

Does no one have an extra brake pedal sitting around so we can compare the two?

The jdm brake pedal and usdm brake pedal are not the same. The jdm pedal will fit but it will rub against the steering column plastic cover. which is not a huge issue. The usdm pedal has a different curve to it so that it clears. As you can see the usdm starts out straight then angles and enters the pedal it self at an angle. In the picture you supplied the jdm angles early and enters the pedal straight.
As for the clutch pedal I don't know about spacers but I believe they are different as well. The jdm doesn't have the angle like in the picture so when its installed it sits really close to the dead pedal. Hope that helps.

spin_r_g FTW! Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I know everyone SAID you can't use it, I just didn't want to give up without knowing for sure. You wouldn't happen to be selling those??
