hi guys, I'm going to go look at and probably buy a gen one mugen spoiler tomorrow I was wondering if there is a way to tell its fake or not. I dont have any pics but was wondering if you guys could tell me any info regardins real compared to fake. thank you

thanks, but thats all about the gen 2 spoiler, Im looking at a gen 1

 

As far as I know, there are NO any kind of gen 1 replica was made.
What you want to make sure is: One, the screw sockets are still good. Two, both emblems are still there. They alone worth around $100 bucks give and take

Someone posted a website some time ago that had a replica of the gen 1. It was a website that also sold the CF gurney flap.

There someone in my town with a replica 1st gen.

 

Wings west made a replica back in the day. I had a a$$ hat here on the H-T classifieds try to sell me one and play it off as the real thing. Just look at a few real ones in the archives and you should be fine.
