no alignment, but its not the handling thats bad its the ride. its on a dc, i have a camber kit and it used to hit against the shock tower. i cut it to give more room for play, but still rides like ****. on the freeway if i hit a big bump my car will literaly fly in the air. [freak]ing scary

Soften your spring rates buddy, sounds like its stupidly stiff

should notice a big improvement if you do that

What did you expect? To defy physics?

You can't have your cake and eat it too when it comes to suspension.

You have 3 options: Man up and deal with it, raise the car up, or spend more money to run an air bag setup if you're so concerned about having the hard-parker look with a cushy ride.

im slammed on custom spring rate omni's (F600/R900lb) and my **** doesnt ride THAT bad, but then again its not a DD either. Like Targa said you have some options...you cant take turns crazy fast and then have it ride like a lincoln town car too

I suggest raising the car so you're not continuously riding on the bump stops.

im slammed on k sports(redesigned ones). ride is great. i think it depends a lot on spring rates which most ppl dont look at. mine r 10k in the front 8K in back. rides good enough for my new born son. my buddy has 8K front and 6k back and rides really smooth. they bottome out when u hit a pothole but other than that they're great.

lol, exact same setup on my dc2, yup pretty much what you mention happens to me too. I had a car full of people one time on the freeway, went over a huge bump at 80mph car literally did freakin fly up and my car scraped like F*** not to mention me & front passenger hittin our heads on the moonroof while people in the back hit their heads on the rear window *ouch*. I would get rid of the goddam skunk2's but I'm just a broke High school student

EDIT: I live in San Francisco, worst roads ever!!!

I think it depends on alot of factors....What i notice that nobody mention is the profile of your tires can make a huge differance in ride quality...Another thing is...its all about understanding how coil over works....If you have preload adjustment...did you adjust them right?..If not then it'll cause a bad ride...other reason may be related to spring rates and the shock valving....

I live in Oakland can the road here aren't that much better then SF..trust me...=p...

Are those shocks dampening adjustable*? If not, that would help your problem some. However, once you go too low, you're just too low and nothing will help. As said before: either raise it up, man up, or invest in some dampening adjustable suspension.

If his dampers are already bottomed out it doesn't matter.

To the OP, do you know if your shocks/dampers are bottomed out? IF there is no travel in them, or very little travel then yes it will ride like ****.
