confused about the "volks" that I just paid a grip for
here's a set that I am kinda like I dunno what to think about them
first pic: with the lug alignment trick would confirm them as real...

second pic: the rays sticker to tell you when they're made and lug pattern, etc. (but note that this sticker says that it's 4x114.3)

third pic: the confusing one it's stamped with rays eng, made in japan, but 4x100 (wtf?! was that just a screw up?)

so I am confused about this set...
all input will be greatly appriciated

Most of them are stamped like that. They most likely forge all the wheels in the same mold and cut the bolt pattern after the fact. I've seen 5x114.3 wheels forged with 4x100 on the inside as well.

I would just ignore the stickers cause 4x100 is actually correct. They're real alright, so don't worry too much about them.
I saw someone ask this question before on nasioc.com - an answer someone gave was, its to cut down on cost from the forging process - keeps them from having to make separate forms for each wheel PCD... if thats true, you should be good to go

Poor friggin' Rays Engineering....people have to prove that TE37's are real nowadays beyond any doubt. -
