Default rebuilding a ys1

ive got 2 ys1 transmissions, both of which are messed up. one more so than the other.

i was wondering if its cost effective to rebuild your transmission.

should i try and do it myself?

estimate on how much a transmission shop will charge?

it is def. cost effective to rebuild it yourself. find the syncro kit and the bearings if you want to go that far but it will def beat the shop price in the end. Get a Haynes manual to help you guide yourself through it.
