my friend had took my tranny out yesterday to change a throw out bearing...he put it back in and now my speedo is messedup....when im driving the mph will bounce up and down...i dunno what to look at first...any help or pics would be great....i need this fixed asap

i drive a 96 civic ex with a d16y8 if that helps any

 

make sure the vss is tightened all the way in. sometimes they are hard to push all the way in and maybe he half assed it. no disrespect to ur friend just tryin to diagnose
