Default Need help on removing paint from another car

Hey all, haven't posted on here in the LONGEST!

4 days ago I was on the highway coming home from the airport, when all of the sudden a maxima came into my lane, faliling to hear my honking. In the end, he side swiped me. He begged for me not to call police and said he could settle this on the spot since the car he was driving belonged to his girlfriend and he wasn't on the insurance. After like 10 minutes of thinking, I finally gave in and accepted $600 cash on the spot.

I have no dents at all except for the side molding which I really don't care about, and the mirror I was able to pop back on and into place. My only problem is that I have his green paint on my car and was wondering what the best way to remove it is. Here are some pics.

The hubcaps I had bought at walmart for 20 bucks for a set of 4 so I'm just gonna buy another set.

A shop around here once did a complete compound job for 80 bucks which made my paint look brand new for about 3 years. It was like 5 layers of wax and compound he added when I watched him do it. Would doing this again buff out that green paint?

Thank you all in advance.

Richard

See if a detail would help take it off. Compound and polish.

use a magic eraser they sell them at the supermarket its like a sponge I think made by mr.clean? anyway they work way better than compound . I auto-x and get many cone marks looking just like that on the bumper and sides of the car it takes them off much easier than compound and much quicker as well.

Yea first he offered 400 bucks... I was sitting in my car with the police on the phone.. they were taking their sweet time transfering me to Highway patrol, during that time he kept offering me 400... and then 500.. then finally said 600.. then I finally gave in. Also because I didn't want an accident on my report even though it would be "not at fault" He was around my age (I'm 22) and he just didn't wanna be screwed by insurance/police etc so I figured lets help eachother out.

That dark spot you see closer to the wheel is not paint but rubber from his tires. Would that come out as well? I don't care if it doesn't come out 100% since the car is old and bleh... So $600 cash was worth it eh? Did I do good accepting it or am I stupid? And thanks for the quick responses so far.

Cleaner wax is pretty much polish and wax.

I'm going to take my car to my dad's friend's body shop. It'll be $80 for a total car compound. Some of my friends mentioned just taking my car to Econo paint (cheap shop like macco) and just get the basic paint job but to get 2 or 3 clear coats.

My friend said that all of his friends do that. He said to NOT get just the regular paint job alone or it will look like crap, and says the magic in it is the 3 clear coats since it will protect the el crapo paint... Any ideas?

I seriously know how macco and cheap paint shops suck horribly with paint jobs, but wouldn't it work out getting one of those paint jobs with 3 coats of clear coat?
