Ok, please don't flame because I have searched. I just have a simple question. I know dc2R's with yellow interrior, i know uber rare and all of that amazing jdm bs (i love it, just being a smart a$$), but how about jdm dc5 R's? I know blue, black w/ white stich, black w/ red stitch, and red, but what about yellow?

I found one guy telling me no on one on post. I found another telling me they were optional, however they didn't offer the matching rear's like the did with the dc2's. Can I just get a quick couple no's or yes's or something to help me out lol.

First off, this was our debate. Second, everyone on this website knows anything R related, you go to type R guys, regardless of dc2 dc5. Dc5 website if full of 16 year old ricer boys who think they increase ***** size by having 20 inch rims and a 8 inch exhaust, there could be 90 responses with yes or no and I don't think i would take their word for it.

While that may be true for some, I think it would surprise you just how many people in that forum would know your answer.

Remember--a lot of these guys try to swap parts over to their DC5's. Not so much with the DC2R guys.

There is no Black with White stitching. It's Black with Red stitching.

 

No need to hate on the DC5 guys, there's plenty more ricey DC2's then there are DC5's. To say DC5 owners are all a bunch of ricers who don't know anything is a long stretch.

As far as the DC5, there was no yellow interior, there was no yellow exterior and there was no white stitching. White stitching came on the 05+ USDM models with black interiors. JDM stitching was either red or black, depending on what color exterior/interior you got.

USDM models don't apply to this. We didn't get Recaro's, and we most certainly didn't get any type R's (damn you honda).

 

Well you stated white stitching and OEM so I figured I'd mention the USDM 05-06 with black interior could have white stitching so maybe that's why you heard it.

And supposedly all the DC5 seats are made by Recaro, not just the R models. But they're not labeled like they are on the R obviously. Not sure how true this is though.
