this is a local Mass guy, older guy. his car was in at a local dealership that I get all my parts at, and ive got alot of good friends that work there. But anyways, this guys car was in the shop, i've heard alot about the car, its always been serviced at the deals.

I still can't imagine an R with 255K on it, thats insane, I'd love to know how hard he drives the thing, or if he hits red line often...

HOW MUCH OIL DOES IT BURN??? HAS THE HEAD EVER BEEN OFF IT? curious to know since a lot of us have complained of oil consumption with way less mileage, but we obviously beat the shat out of our cars so I wonder how his has held up.

Once again you guys confusing Type R's with Ferrari's
c'mon now, they're friggen hondas for christ sakes, get a grip. I don't know where people get this idea that after 100k that they just explode or something

the car has had a few clutchs, t-belts, and a ringjob, and I almost positive valve seals. the service writer was showing me the service history .....long as hell
Oh those are just snow tires, he normaly rocks Azinis on a daily basis. I wanna say that he used up his last set of rt-215s last year

Those are winter steelies with hub caps sold by Tire Rack.
When I use to have my 97CW R as the only car, i had that snow package with these hub caps painted CW in being creative.

That's exactly right, you don't see too many late model cars with 255K on them, especially an R. So I'm wondering how a high revving motor holds up to long mileages.
I doubt any of us will drive our cars that far to ever find out.
