this is a local Mass guy, older guy. his car was in at a local dealership that I get all my parts at, and ive got alot of good friends that work there. But anyways, this guys car was in the shop, i've heard alot about the car, its always been serviced at the deals.

and its soooooo freakin clean....its only got a couple spots of surface rust, the interior is wicked nice for a 255k car

HOW MUCH OIL DOES IT BURN??? HAS THE HEAD EVER BEEN OFF IT? curious to know since a lot of us have complained of oil consumption with way less mileage, but we obviously beat the shat out of our cars so I wonder how his has held up.

the car has had a few clutchs, t-belts, and a ringjob, and I almost positive valve seals. the service writer was showing me the service history .....long as hell


Oh those are just snow tires, he normaly rocks Azinis on a daily basis. I wanna say that he used up his last set of rt-215s last year

Those are winter steelies with hub caps sold by Tire Rack.
When I use to have my 97CW R as the only car, i had that snow package with these hub caps painted CW in being creative.

 

This car made me go wow!

I dont think he is saying its not supposed to happen. If I had to guess, he is saying he has never seen it done before!

 

That's exactly right, you don't see too many late model cars with 255K on them, especially an R. So I'm wondering how a high revving motor holds up to long mileages.

I doubt any of us will drive our cars that far to ever find out.

 

gotta love our hondas through the test of time..and asphalt, gravel, dirt.....and everything in between

 

I thought breaking 100k on my R was alot I'm suprised the car wasn't ripped off yet. How close does that guy live to you Ryan?
