Default ITR exhaust with test pipe

I got a 95 gsr that im building. I need and exhuast going with the ITR axle back. and than taking to a muffler shop for all the piping. Was wondering how a test pipe would sound? I want it to sound all most stock but a lil hint of deep.
Anyone have this set up? How does your sound. Thanks.

If you want it to sound a little deeper, grab a magnaflow resonator and have that welded in. Don't worry about the test pipe, just keep the cat. I have an itr catback with a 22" magnaflow resonator and it craps on pretty much everyone else's exhaust setup as far as sound quality goes.

So from the headers to the cat. Go to the 22"magnaflow resonator, to the ITR muffler. Is that irght? Is it loud at all what does a resonator do?

I used an omni power test pipe with and ITR catback. Super quiet with a gsr long block and skunk2 stage 2s, but with my old b20 and crower 404's that thing sounded like a v8!

i have the itr catback and test pipe setup. It doesn't really make the exhaust sound any deeper. It'll just smell like noxious fumes.

A resonator is basically an extra muffler, but it doesn't degrade performance. It just takes away raspy tones from the exhaust note.

Test pipes = meh.

Thanks for the input. Might go with a test pipe pipe first see how it sounds

Just get a high flow cat. You car will smell like a fumey POS with a test pipe on there.

Go with a T1R resonated test pipe, I have a car sound cat to ITR catback and its nice and quiet I like it. Ive heard the T1R's to ITR cb, and it sounds better than my carsound cat...
