check for compression, fuel, and spark. a car needs those three things to start.
what got me (3 times actually) during my last project was the timing being off by a few teeth. turned out to be a very expensive 3 mistakes.

Looking at the pictures, the sparkplug wires are wrong. Also, when using an A6 distributor on a Z6 head, you will need to grind out the bolt holes so that you have the extra adjustability to get the ignition timing as close as you can to stock spec. As the distributor sits in the picture, the timing is really off. Converting to OBD1 and using a Z6 distributor and P28 ecu would have been a better option. But, you can still have a decent running car with your set-up, it just needs some adjustments.

[QUOTE=Rease3]what u took it to the shop and got it fixed or what..[/QUOTE/]
not the car, the head. i had to rip the head back off and take it to the machine shop... twice. the thrid time it happened i just bought a new head off my friend for 50 bucks and called it a day.
