Default B16A, wiring Problem..

Hi all,

I have been suffering from a Gr8 problem since last 4 months which I was unable to solve.

My friend swap a b16a in his accord 1984 hatch back, after the Swap the car went for wiring, the guy did the complete wiring and started up the engine, when we took the car for a ride the car after 10 mins of drive started missing badly, we instantly added fuel, but it didn’t solved the matter,

The engine was OBd0 and it was using OBD0 dizzy and Ecu, but the thing missing was injector resistor box, well I arranged a resistor box and installed it, the car regain to idle again, but after 5 mins one of the injector / cylinder stop working, disconnect that injector for 5 to 10 mins and it will start working again, there was no solution to this problem, the injector kept failing one by one, I replaced all 4 injector with mine the car got ok, I test drive it and it ran perfect, every thing is working perfect, but this was for another 30 mins after that the car was in same previous condition, what now, checked every thing and every thing was the way it has to be, tried 2 different resistor, box no result, the resistor box was getting Hot as when the car is misfiring or cylinder stop working,

When cylinder stop working, there is proper spark in the plug wire and if u unplug that injector and plug it in another injector which your holding in your hand, you will feel its clicking that its working, but plugging it wont make the cylinder work, u have to wait for 10 mins then it will work,

I thought that it’s the injector driver in the Ecu that got burned up, because the wiring guy didn’t installed the resistor box at first place, we had 2 different OBD0 ecu but the problem was constant on both of them, I told my friend that it’s the ECU which is causing this. A good ECU will solve the problem,

10 Days back I after very hard searching found a OBD1 Ecu and OBD2 dizzy for the engine, I did the complete wiring part and installed both of them, started the car and car was ok for about next 20 Mins after that we were standing where we started, one of the cylinder stopped working again, specifically # 4 and it didn’t started to work even disconnecting it for 10 mins, I replace that injector with mine again it started, after that injector # 1 was doing the same I replaced it too, I noticed that the injector that stop working is very hot while the other are not that much and the resistor box is also very hot,
It remains cool till the injectors are working ok,

If the car is misfiring and u shut it down for that day and start it again the next day it will be misfiring until one start playing with injectors,
All the time wheen working or not injector have 13.5 to 14 volts in there power side.

Both of the resistor boxes are working fine on my car, my injector were giving problem in his car but working fine in my car,

I need your help here big time,.

what i have checked so far...

Installed new ecu to injector wires,
Feeded resistor box with heavy gauge wire and connected it to direct battery.
Compression tested the cylinders 170 psi.

Many thanks for reading.

Input are welcomed!

try swapping to obd1 injectors and getting rid of the resistor box by running all the wires from that plug to a block off plug.
