well after wanting ctr headlights for so long i finally got them.

i got a nice deal on them atleast i think. i paid 350 brand new
with city light sockets and harness.

i kind of started thinking right before putting them on and i might
just sell them and part out my car.

i had the car for probably 3 years now and have maybe driven it a total
of 5 times. i spent a decent amount of money and dont really have
much more that i want to do to it.

i live in fresno california where theft is real bad within 2 weeks 3 of my
buddies got there cars stolen and fully stripped. i myself had an si stolen
before and completely stripped. i know that i will probably never drive it and
be comfortable. i will just have it as a hobby and for my own satisfaction.

what would u guys do?

this is my 10th honda i have ever owned and probably will be my last to build.

 

before my ride was stolen, i was in the same boat as you. debating whether or not i wanted to keep the car.

in the end, i think i would have just kept it in storage and brought it out a few times when i got bored and wanted to have some fun. i say keep it if you could afford to

 

Nice EM1, looks clean. Did you have to modify the mudguards to work with the rear lip?

BTW: Im in the same boat as you, I keep my si as just a fun car. No worries about thefth that way.

 

I say keep it around, install the new headlights, and just have some fun with it. Get a decent photgrapher around your area and get a few decent shots before you ever part it out. I like your Si a lot

 

after stemding time and money i would deff keep it. Ofcorse as it was mentioned above if you CAN.

But man, honesly its a nice car

 

put the headlights and sell me the car

 

keep that **** in your garage man. and padlock it from the inside

 

it sucks how somthing like theft can ruin a whole lifestyle for some people. I feel ya on this one man! Stay up

 

Just take some extreme security precautions. There are defiantly ways to keep it safe. It's pretty sad that people can't even enjoy their cars these days without having to worry about them being stolen.

that sucks that theft is so bad in your area... why ais the rear of your car so low? the stance is really weird.

i dont think i can get enough security to be comfortable with leaving it anywhere.

i had a black si a few years back it had a few kill switches it also had a low jack system. the car got stolen and they were never to track it. when i got the car it was completely stripped and burned to the ground.

does anyone know what it would cost of insurance when the car will not be on the streets.

Nice pickup though. Yeah I know what you mean about theft. I would say just keep it if you don't need to money to be somewhere else, like for a downpayment on a house or something.
