Default 99, 2000, 2001 type r computer.

Ok guys here's my dilema. I got a 2000 honda civic with a complete gsr swap. I recently installed an itr blox replica intake manifold, itr throttle body, jdm 4-1 header, itr injectors, and ctr cams. I am running right now on a p2p si computer but came into an 01 usdm itr computer for free since my friend went k series in his itr. Well I took out the imobilizer and tried it on my car but the car doesn't seem to be priming normally and it doesn't stay on.

My question is that I heard there is a difference in the 99-00 and 01 itr computers. Is this true and also will I even be able to use the computer on my car. Thanks in advance for the help guys.

i dont think that ECU will work because of the Immobilizer, just get a jumper and run an obd1 ecu...that way you can tune it so that it runs right. or get a jumper (obd2b to obd2a) and buy a 97-98 R ecu

Yeah I was going to get an obd2b-obd2a jumper and a 97-98 typr r ecu but I got this one for free. I even took the imobileizer out of the 01 itr ecu.

Anyone else got any insight on the this.
