I believe you need the GSR head studs. For the oil pump any obd 2 B series pumps will work. The B16 water pump will work just make sure you match the timing belt.

Helms wouldnt answer it, but searching wouldve.

B16 water pump wont work, its designed for a shorter deck, so it has a different number of teeth.
You need the b18c water pump.
On the same line, you cannot use the b16 timing belt for the same reason. You need the b18c belt.

All obd2 oil pumps are the same.

Everything 96 and up is OBD2.

I thought if you used the B16 pump and belt it would work?

My mistake - I was remembering the b16 had 22 teeth, like the ls, as opposed to the 19 on the b18c pumps.
A b16 water pump will work.

The belt, however, is still specific for the b18c, due to deck height. A b16 belt wont fit - its too short.

i was always told had to be gsr water pump and belt ??? ... as for head studs if your getting arp's .... you have to get for b20 w/ b16 head .. thats what the box says on it ... i dont think using gsr head studs will do since they have ones specificly for b20/vtec's

well in this quote i understand that the b16 head and the ls have 22 teeth and that the b18c has 19 teeths so it is unclear to me as to what pump to use or i just dont understand why you could just answer yes the 16 water pump works just fine...bur use a gsr timing belt. i apreciate your answers but you don't have to be rude...i just want to be sure of my purchases, and if you dont have the patience to help a fellow HT member out I'm sure someone else will. thanks for your answers so far tho.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by pdiggitydogg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">dude, for the third time - yes, a bactueally its just that your wording of choice is somewhat not clear to me...[18c belt (gsr/itr)</TD></TR></TABLE>
