Default Stage II SC - Hondata

Hey,

This is Hellzcivic. My old account got killed somehow so I am starting over. Anyway, I spoke with CT Engineering a couple months ago and they mentioned Doug from Hondata was working on new Fuel Tuning for the SI with the Comptech Supercharger. I was suppose to follow up with Nate at Comptech later that week. Unfortunately I severely injured by spine and have been out of touch for the last 2 months.

Has anyone heard anything new on this? I have tried calling CT a few times and sent emails but can't get a response.

Second (I know this is not the place), after several months of training with professional custom fiberglass fabricators, I have created some custom molded sub-woofer enclosures for the SI Coup trunk. These are similar to the Bassforms enclosures but fit, sound and look way, way better. Anyway, if anyone is interested, I will post some pictures (after my trail period) and maybe write-up a DIY. I think these are something anyone can make but I don't want to waste my time doing a write-up if no one is interested.

As far as I know, there is nothing out yet for it. They've been having a lot of troubles just supplying the demand for the stage 1s.

Sorry to hear about the spine injury, you doing ok now?

One more operation and they say I should be near 100%. I justed started driving again a couple weeks ago. Although I love my HFP suspension, it is a little tough on a bad back.

Thanks for the feedback on the tuning. Nate did mention that CT was only going to be releasing a few Stage 1 units at a time. If I hear anything I will let you all know.

I'd definitely be interested in the pictures/write-up!

Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery.

Ok, here a couple pictures of the 1st enclosure I created. I am in process of creating 2 more that I will be dropping a couple Kicker VR 12" sub's into. I will post pictures of those as well, after they are installed. I will start DIY tonight.

the set up is clean i like it. But i just cant settle w/ one 12, i need 2 lol. Have you done any fiberglass work for an enclosure that fits 2 12" woofers? What i picture in my head is taking out the spare, jack area and using it to put a fiberglass box there. I would definitely be interested in that type of box. But your set up is clean, nice work. Keep up posted on the progress, and good luck w/ your next surgery.

That is what I am working on now. The enclosure in the picture was a test enclosure. We made it so I could learn/practice the techniques need (molding and laying mat & resin, framing, wrapping, and finishing with paint or carpet), and using the tools. The actual enclosure I am making for my car will sport 2 12" Kicker VR subs. After I finish my car, a buddy of mine with a custom Nissan 300Z Twin Turbo wants we to fabricate a molded enclosure for his car that will hold 2 10" subs a amp rack. For that one I will be finishing with Black Gel Coat. Since I have never used Gel Coat before, that should be interesting.

I am hoping that eventually I can use these new skills to create custom fiberglass body parts, spoilers and air dams. For now I will still with speaker enclosures.
