I thought i was done with the honda scene when i sold my Ek, but i saw this dc4(i learn something new from this thread) at the junkyard for sale. It had potential so i bought it. It was a stolen recovery 1999 Ls with a missing JDM front and broken ignition. Everything else still there. Here's some pics. Enjoy









ps i guess the car was local because there's a sticker that says "sdcs escondido". I met a dude last night that said he knew the person who owned it before it got bang'd. He said the dude took care of the car very well.

Going w/ the JDM front again? You could probably sell it for more than you bought it for if you play up the "JDM ready-ness" of it.

JDM Front end w/hid
optional side skirts
optional rear lip
new paint job
maybe 5lug conversion

My friend and i are havening this argument right now what is the differentiation.

 

dc2 is gsr and (type r, if im not mistaken) and dc4 is Ls

 

It comes from the beginning of the VIN

GS-R's and Type-R's (VTEC engines) are DC2, every other 3rd gen integra is a DC4 (LS,RS,GS,S.E.)

 

tanabe you live in sd? i went to that junkyard and it seems it is the same one, they sell teggys and on same expletiveed up street they sell beamers right?. thats where i got all myparts, hood and trun and rear 2 doors hehehe

 

damn..good find. Side moldings are already shaved as well...all you need is a painted front end and you're all good! How much did you get it for if you dont mind me asking?

nope just gsr, type r. ls,gs,rs are all dc4, 4door is db8

Before i started spending all kinds of money..

I would do the following..
- Get a car alarm with remote paging
- Wire up a fuel kill switch
- Possibly a detachable steering wheel

Or it's gonna end up how it was when you went to pick it up..

that was the first thing i was gonna do after i get it running is
alarm
unhook keyhole hinges
disable the lock/unlock switch
relocate the hood latch from the fenders (that was how they pop the hood becasue it was cut there)
