Default walbro fuel pump installation

i bought a walbro 255 lph pump for my 93 integra hoping to help out the fuel flow and pressure.
when i was installing it i noticed it was a lot smaller than the stock pump.
the directions also send crimps.
i was wondering, if you crimp the wires wont it cause any spark inside the tank?
its litterally on the fuel.
im just wondering before i turn on my car and have it blow up in my face.
kinda nervous

unless your running boost or nitrous you DO NOT NEED A BIGGER FUEL PUMP!!!!
stick with your oem one. by going with a larger pump you will just make more cabin noise for yourself to deal with.

cabin noise. blah thats non sense. my walbro 255lph is quiet. I cant even hear it.

change it. its really easy.

make sure the cars
take off your seats
the pump is in the middle of the rear seats.

unscrew the cover and start unbolting everything.
switch everything from the old pump to the new pump.

and put it back.
everything is bolted or clipped on.

should take about 30 minutes. if that.
