Default Weird TPS screws, How To Remove these

Okay so I finally got a code 7. Lucky me.

It was only a matter of time, the TPS sensor has been cracked from day one, ever since it arrived from the Motor shop in Patterson NJ. Its finally registering now that its broke.

I believe this is my number 1 reason for crappy MPG as well.

Firstly, I have another sensor, to replace it with, but its off a 92 SI tb. And unlike the screws on the 92 SIvtec models, this one is diffrent. I have very little idea on how to actually remove these things. Well mabey grind them off, but I dont see any other way.

they're rivets dude.

the easiest thing to do is just get a dremel and a cutoff wheel, and cut horizontal slits in them, then use a flathead screwdriver and just unscrew them

angle grinder might be a bit large for that

just drill their heads off, size the bit right and you won't mess up the tps, then just use pliers to unscrew the remaining stud.

Ny drill took a dive on me the other day. The white studs are the only thing that have to come off

I just used a hacksaw, cut a small line into it then use flathead and spin them out.

Im sorry this may be partially my fault for not updating the thread. This happened 2 months ago. I had another thread on PP that helped me out really quick.

Missin succesful. I was able to remove the screws and reinstall a new TPS into my TB. Voltage set to .47 on the multimeter.

Gas milage improved as well.

Yes I knowmy camera pics are bad. there is nothing I can do about that, the camera is a piece of junk. Ill be picking up some actual camera equiment, just so I can produce better photos.

Not in the case of my camera. Well atleast at night and indoors. Outside in the sun it takes beautiful pics. Just not inside and at night.
