Default Motor problem

I am having an odd problem with my type r hopfully someone can help source the problem. I can start the car fine , but for the first minute or so if i push the gas alittle the car wants to bog out. But if i wait like 5 minutes the car runs fine. I also just installed a new intake and the stock intake seemed to have some gas residue or at least it smelled like gas. Any help would be huge , thanks fellow type r owners!

Have you replaced the fuel filter?

Check all vacuum lines on the new IM. Check the idle sensor for proper installation.
