New Civic 4 door!
Alright, my friend just crashed my beloved del sol earlier this week. Its pretty much totally so im hanging on to it for part and such. Yesterday i came across a 95 civic ex sedan for sale for $1000. Im thinking its gonna be a junker, but i checked it out anyways and it is CLEAN! Just some faded paint on the hood and roof. Now the guy said he bought it at auction and on the way home, it cut off and he had to have it towed and its been sitting there since. my plan is, if the problem is serous, swap out my setup in the del sol for the civic. anyways, if its a small problem then it looks like i found a deal. So i talked him down to $900 and im picking the car up today. I guess my question is...Is it worth it??????
The car being "worth it" is all relative. Depends on how bad you want it.
What kind of condition is it in? If it's not running, I wouldn't pay any more than $500 for it. If the motor is toast, that means you have to add on another few hundred bucks on top of your sales price. For an auction car with no prior records, I'd say pass on it for $900.

I took a more in depth look at it tonight....its got a rod knocking. Besides that, everything electronic works flawless and its got 155K on it. Color is phantom gray. I've made up my mind and im swapping my mini-me in it for a clean *** daily driver. for $900 i think its a good deal for a shell and an extra sohc vtec head
