Which master cylinder to use on a CRX ?
Hey guys after searching i found that i can use a honda civic EX master cylinder on my 90 crx si, so i called around to get one and the autozone says that there are different ones and they all are different part numbers, they said there is a different one from if the EX is a 4 door or a wagon, and if its a 1.5 or a 1.6 liter engine, they have the one in stock for a 4 door ex with a 1.5 but not the one if its a 1.6. so which one do i need if i want to upgrade to the larger bore master cylinder? and on a side note i was told a 1989 prelude 2.0 si master cylinder will also work but i will have to bend the lines a little, autozone has one in stock for a 89 prelude 2.0 fuel injected Si. so does any one know more about this?
is it better to buy it from autozone, oem honda or used? I'm also having trouble finding parts at the local salvage yards, these cars are getting old...
I saw a link to a salvage yard/used parts online but cant seem to remember where it was. Anyone know of one?

most of the ones that places like autozone carry are either refurbished or remanufactured OEM parts. I would always go for a remanufactured part or a refurbished because they are pretty much new with new parts. When buying parts like this from a place like AZ ask if its remanufactured or not.

I wasn't able to find one at autozone reman'd from the original NISSIN part. Seems that it's a oem spec part that the company (i forgot the brand) reman's their own parts.
Anyone know of a website where I can order a used one from? I saw a link somewhere!
