Default - CRX Body Question -

Hey guys... im a noob & new around here so go easy.

I'm looking at buying this CRX here in OZ as future project.

I have never seen this rear bumper & s/skirts before does anyone know of it?

I did a quick search & found nothing but Front & Rear lips....

Lastly does anyone have a pic of the front lip that goes with it? (if there is)

-Cheerz

There's at least 3 that I've seen driving around on the North side of Chicago. I think they're pretty common around here. I've never seen another Tahitian Green Pearl CRX

are you sure its not a custom bumper? (Maybe a xenon done over or something). From the looks of it, the bumper is aftermarket but prob modified for looks and to mold the car better. Its prob not the stock paint. Your best bet is to find the closest look bumper and go with that. This is just a guess tho, so if someone gives u more concrete evidence, take it

i don't think that kit is for that car, probably why the front isn't on. looks to be an erebuni kit like everyone said ^^^^ b4.. all i know is it looks photochopped, if it's the real thing the gaps/flare in the rear are hideous.

Looks like the erebuni kit, with a JDM rear spoiler.

He probably curbed the fiberglass front bumper...which is why it's missing.

the canadian crx special edition came only in silver and had paint matched mouldings and side mirrors.
also had a power window option from the factory.

maybe this crx is some sort of version?

this is OZ australia he is talking about so maybe it was imported?

^^ Exactly what im thinking but mabey some japan limited/special edition as it's from japan not canada.

Thats what the owner (2nd) says... although he is not the 1st owner but it landed from japan in the mid 90's & was told from the 1st owner thats how it landed & how he bought it.

I do believe this as the seller has some old service history papers from japan also given to him buy the original owner.

Also Had a good look through erebuni kits and still nothing ( we have a place here in OZ like that who sells most if not all of what they sell, mostly RICE... uummm no thanks)

This looks more Oemish not Riceish.

Anyway looks like a mugen or wingswest F/bar
or Streetstyler lip if I get it.

And yes im from OZ/Australia.

look up the paint code in the inside of the door jam... if that color is the same color of the car you will have a better understanding. Also, u can still have ur mirrors and moldings painted to the stock color of the car, but thanx for your in depth and brilliiant tech info u shared with us.

Hey from OZ as well

I saw this for sale a few weeks back. Looked in descent condition.. And a lady owner apparently.

Im pretty sure that its not an OEM Honda kit or Mugen kit. From memory there was only a couple of OEM kits and they covered the bumper and didn't replace it.

Goodluck with it! It seemed cheap in comparison to other POS's on the market right now...

Wasn't this in QLD though? I remember it being closer to me.
