Default DX MC/Booster on Si?

I got a strange problem. It seams that my front brakes are binding. When I try to spin the wheels when off the floor, there is a good amount of tension. And my left side brake sounds like its wasted to the metal, while I changed them only 3 months ago. My question is weather or not the DX Master cylinder/booster/pedal assembly is compatible with the Si calipers ? I had to take everything off of my dx, to complete My Si, hence the mix of parts.

Not 100% sure, but I do think the SI and DX Master Cylinders are the same.

I don't know what car you're driving.....

DX:13/16"
Si(CRX rear disk):7/8"
Prelude Si 90-91 non-abs:15/16"
Teg:1"

I think the Si (Civic and Rex w/ drum) have the same 13/16....

Maybe it's time for an upgrade!

Sorry.. I drive a 90 Civic Si. I took off the wheel yesterday, so see if the brakes were worn, but it looked like the front pad was at 90%. Could the back one have worn to nothing somehow ? The car started to make the whining noise when backing up too. I dont understand how only the right side is making noise. My braking power doesnt feel diminished at all. How long do you think I can safely drive this way ? I have to drive for a few hours before i can have it taken care of. Oh, and another strange thing, sometimes the squeaking noise will go away for a few minutes. Right now it seams like it doesnt go away at all, and is very loud. Could my brakes lock up ?

Maybe you got a seized caliper?
If you brake pedal travel is the same, don't change the MC.
AS for your booster, you'll hear some vaccum leak if it was broken.

Wouldnt that mean I will have leaking brake fluid ? Or its just a lubrication problem, where the caliper cant smoothly slide ?
