Door Skins.
Okay so I just recently purchased a 97 Civic Hatchback. The body seems pretty straight, no major dents on the driverside door although the passenger side door seems a bit dented up and repainted. The door already doesn't sit completely flush with the car as it should (although its not that noticeable). My question would be, would getting the outer skin be cheaper than getting a complete new door? I dont know exactly how much body shops would charge to have a new skin welded on. As it sits, An outter skin costs about $209 from Honda and the complete door skin is about $400. Which would you guys find to come out more efficient and cheaper.
Reference to what i am speaking ( #2 being complete door, #4 being outter skin)

You sacrifice some corrosion protection when you skin a door and for reference door skins are usually bonded on very minor welding, your best bet would be to try and find a nice used oem door complete and spray it to match, it will prob be cheaper for you that way.
