ecu problem
so i checked the codes on my chipped p28 ecu and it was throwing code 20. The thing was that my friend put his chipped ecu in my car and everthing was fine. I put my ecu in and everything was fine. Then when i turned it off for 10 mins the light turns on and my car runs funny. the code is the ELECTRICAL LOAD DETECTOR. Is it possible to bring the ecu to a shop and they can tell me if my ecu is the problem. Or do you think all i need to do is replace the fuse box.
how much do you think it would cost if i brought it to the shop. Oh yeah i forgot to say that a week prior my brother dwn shifted from 3rd to second while racing. And my cars check engine light turned on and read code 20. So do you think that that part of my ecu fried??
what are you tuned with ? its a simple 5 min job to disable the eld if u want u could even mail me your chip ill disable it and send it back or pay me and ill send u a fresh chip with a base map of your choice...
or you could find someone local and ask them to do it they prolly wont charge

so i figured out the problem. My friend said that some of the prongs on the chip got burnt. And he told me i had a h22 map on it. Right now he replaced it with a gsr chip. What do you think would be the best setup for a hatch with an h22. ohh yeah my car was running great with the chip but can he copy the settings from my old chip to my new chip even though its burnt? And can a chip really make your car run better???
