Default Does anyone have over 90k on the odometer.

Just by looking around, and this site has a lot of good info., I don't see a lot of guys that are saying that there S is a daily driver. Mine is and I put about 400 miles a week on it. I have just done the usual regular maint. on it but have not had to replace anything significant part wise. Lots of rear tires, from eating rustangs and a few wildeyed z4s and z3s but no clutches, trannys, rearends. I am going to have to replace the top shortly but that is normal for a 7 year old convertible. Mine is a silver 01. I will be replacing the injectors soon but plan on doing that in my garage. BTW does anyone know the cc size of the stock injectors? Just thought I would start the thread and see who has the high miles on their S2K. The only mods I have done is a K&N filter and ceramic coated the calipers. The car was perfect from birth. Kind of like that gir-next-door you remember from when you were a kid. Ya, you just smiled cause you know the feeling if you have owned one as long as I have. Salute to you all for a great site. Cyber

a few people are approaching 200k miles. Many ap1's and sever ap2's are over 100k. Stock injectors are 340 or 360cc.

Hey Black, I ordered mine from Tops on Line. Nothing but good things to say about them. I went with the stock canves material with the stock plastic rear window. Didn't want to have to modify my plastic to make the glass work. The delivered from CA to OK in about a week. Going to have a local convertible shop put it on. This looks a little too much like work for me. Thanks for all the replys men...Cyber

I seen your line about Nismo. I laugh every time I see one of the Toyota pickups with the sticker package on the back of the bed that reads TRD for Toyota Racing Development. We call them Toyota Turds around my house. I bet that Japanese Graffics designer didn't think anything about putting TRD on that truck or the American slang connotation. Toyotas are great vehicles but I can"t own one of the TRD trucks because I would always be calling it a turd...lol, Cyber

1972 Ford Pinto, 302ci V8, sold after 5 tickets for smoking the skins
1974 Ford Maverick, sold
1982 Sebring Turbo, VW kit car, sold after 20 years
1980 Mazda Luce, in Japan sold when I went back to the states
1981 Toyota Van, in Japan sold when I went back to the states
1986 Merc XR7, sold because I replace practically every part on it, at least once
1990 Cadillac Fleetwood, sold because I wanted a truck
1990 Geo Metro, great mpg, totaled when hit from behind at 50mph by a TBird
1994 Isuzu PU, given to my son after I put 120k on it
1996 Nissan Quest, sold on Chrismas 2005 to buy my wife a 2005 Nissan Quest
2005 Nissan Quest, wife's present vehicle
1998 GMC Sierra, 305, sold because gas was going up
2001 Honda S2K, purchased from a Dr. in 2004, had 3k miles on it
15 different street bikes and 3 wheelers, all Japanese because back then Harleys leaked oil all over the place.

I have a silverstone 2001, and I'm about 200 away from 90k. I drive it every day just about the same amount as you.
