Default ROTA vs DRAG

Just woundering looking to order some Rotas (slipstream<--sp?) Anways looking around for price I guess?. But saw the DRAG wheels that looks like the slipstream, question is do they pretty much weigh the same? Anyone knows? Let me know thanks. Looking to get some 16" so if you have both or one of the two please post with weights Thanks!

I know most people have Rotas but how are DRAG wheels? I know wheels are wheels but still any good/bad experience with them let me know? (quality wise?)TIA

drag wheels are basically the same as rotas just a bit cheaper, the weights are probably fairly similar, pm user drflicker of jlb motorsports, he is a dealer of both rim companies

When I picked up my Drags (DR-16's) at JLB, Hikaru weighed them and the Rota GT3's, the Drags are actually a few ounces lighter. And cheaper. Other than the shitty center caps, haven't had a problem in 2 years, on 2 different cars...and I'm not dainty with them.

I'd buy another set of Drags.

Best pic I have.

Thanks guys ....both your post sounds pretty interesting to me... similar/lighter for the Drags eh? Well either one I don't mind paying the price wheels are wheels just with one you get a quicker order I guess? =p in the sense if ROtas are out of slipstreams. Like last time I called was ready to order and everything....

Oh I tried to search "drflicker" says no user of that name is that correct?

So is that user name correct or can I get another check on that.....ASlO anyone else with "bigrob119" on the Drags lighter than Rotas? THANKS

If you haven't heard back from them by now, try again. They're usually on top of things, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

edit linked for your pleasure.

The difference between the Rota and the Drag line of wheels is that the Drag line is NOT VIA/JWL approved while the Rota is.
