Wow I watched the videos with the highlights man you are pretty good. I hope that this chassis works as well as the DC2. Keep us updated on the progress and get some track videos with the new car!

Finally got the car, went to the port last thursday to pick it up

I'll be checking the car in general these days and start to prep for next week race. Have changed the trunk for a cf one, installed the Mugen tow hooks, mounting the datalogger, race seat and Willans harness, will be removing all the innecessary parts for weight reduction, removed the headlight to make fiberglass covers

Will be posting pics and some feedbacks about the car.

cheers

Looks like a perfect base for a race car .

What suspension did the car have in it when it came from japan? because in one of the pics it looks like it has Mugen N1 which is good gear.

It came with the HKS Hypermax Pro coilovers with Swift springs and Cusco adjustable top mounts for camber

Thanks!

Here are some pics of today's work, took off the dash to removed the a/c box and the vent box that is inside the dash and then put back the dash, removed the doors windows, installed the FAL side and trunk light windows kit, finished hooking up the MXL datalogger, relocating the intake air filter...

Wow, Nice progress! I was going to Pm for pics of how the Mugen cage went through the dash, but you took care of that! Are you going to leave the stock cluster out and just run the digital cluster? Also what do you think the final weight of the car is going to be? I can already tell this car is going to be Sick as [freak]!

Almost finished with the car's prep, put the datalogger in front of the cluster, don't wanna mess something by removing the connectors from the electrical harness. Here are some pics of how is going...

Going to do some test at the track tomorrow, hope it handles as good as the DC2R...

Cheers

It's definitely not going to handle as well as the DC2 chassis, but maybe the additional power and ability to run wider wheels/tires will offset this.

Ahh . Thanks for the reply. Looks like the suspension has Mugen lower brackets at the front, which should allows you to have inverted tie rod ends which is nice, as well as a lot of camber .

The panels to replace the headlights look good. Nice progress .
