Default no heat or ac on blower

look...i have read all there is on HT about blowers and i still can't figure out why my blower is not working. i bought three yes THREE blowers and tested them all with a car batt and they spin. next i relpace the resistor with two good resistor and still the blower is not spinning. my fans come on when i push the ac button but blower is still not spinning. i also went and bought the haynes manual and that **** does not tell me how to trouble shoot the blower. i have wasted one week and $100 on getting this pos fix but some how i can't. if anyone can help me please do so because summer is coming around in cali and want my ac working. can it be the main relay or is there another relay somewhere else? should i just go and buy a light tester or those electrical tester that you can test AC and DC and i was to buy one of those AC and DC tester WTF does AC and DC test for?....

I had a '95 Civic that I couldn't figure out..

It turned out to be the ground wire to the blower was open
up under the dash..

AC=alternating current ie:household current
DC=direct current ie: car battery

Test for DC voltage at the motor..If you have voltage,
Use an Ohm meter to test the ground..

Well if we know the blower work 100%, And you said you did the resister...... have you checked at the blower blue/white for voltage when you turn it on?

Use a voltmeter not a test light!

If your getting voltage but its not turning on, its a bad or open ground!

If you get no voltage then its your power source going into the blower.

Sounds like a wiring issue and not a blower or resister problem

sheesh, just buy a multimeter (what you called a tester) that comes with a manual, and read it.
then disconnect the plug at the blower and check the voltage at the plug. it should probably be getting 12 v

agreed...MULTIMETER. it can be your best friend. just make sure you have it set to DC and something like 20 Volt range if it's not automated. then check the wiring at the blower like mentioned here. if no good, check the switch. if you aren't comfortable with that, you need to take the car to someone who knows how

and double check that fuse...when i first got my car i thought i had the blower fuse but it was actually for something else. my blower fuse is kinda added on the end of the box like an after thought
