Are H22 and H23 alternators the same?

Which alternator are you running on your H23vtec?

Can I swap alternators from the h22 block to the h23 bock?

I used the alternator from my H23 on my H22, so they should all be exactly the same.

Almost, there is an extra rib on the H22 altenator

 

I am using my h23 altenator. they are the same voltages and ampreges.

 

So you can run it just with a different belt?

 

If you run a h23 alt on an h22, you are going to have to use the belt off a h23.
5 ribs on h23
6 ribs on h22

I have h23 alt on an h22, I use the h23 belt

 

if your that concerned change the pulleys. you can change those easily

 

Great, so the alternators are the same, and its just the pulley that is different on each model.

Has anyone had any experience with an Ebay 160 amp alternator?
