Default Replacing my CV.

My front right CV went out this morning on the way to school and had to get my car towed back to my house. The bearings were all over the place under the car. I just wanted to see if anyone had any tips for me before i go and change them this weekend. The car is a 94 Auto LS.

Thanks

is it true that you have to change your tranny fluid when changing the axle?

I've done a lot of axles, you don't have to drain the tranny.
